EN 77-3092-R1.0 (8/2015) 4 / 6 Mount the pedestal base and mast to the GEMS control mast; use 12 screws to attach the masts together. Do not tighten until all screws are threaded in loosely by hand. After all the screws have been threaded by hand, tighten with a 7/32” hex key wrench. Place the stand in the desired location. EN 77-3092-R1.0 (8/2015) 5 / 6 Use 1/2” [12mm] lag shields with lag screws, concrete screws, concrete anchors, or other appropriate method to bolt the base to the floor. The base thickness is 1.5” [38mm]. Studs should extend at least 2 1/4” [57mm] from the ground for addition of a washer and nut. Mount base to anchors and secure so it will not move or tip.
